--Popular Vehicles arm to take over AUDI dealerships in Telangana, Andhra 

--Popular Vehicles step-down arm gets 3 letter of intents from AUDI India 

NEW DELHI – Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd. on Wednesday said its step-down arm Imperion Cars Pvt. Ltd. has received three letters of intent from Audi India for retail operations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. As part of this deal, Imperion Cars will take over the business of existing Audi dealers in these two states, and will establish five touch points, including showrooms and service centres in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, the company said in an exchange filing.

"The Hyderabad facility further reinforces the company's recent expansion in the state of Telangana, while the establishments in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada mark the company's entry into the state of Andhra Pradesh," Popular Vehicles said in a statement. 

For the September quarter, Popular Vehicles had reported a consolidated profit of INR 5.71 million on revenues of INR 15.30 billion. At 1239 IST, shares of the company traded 0.8% lower at INR 118.60 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
