Ventive Hospitality approves corporate guarantee of $39.6 mln for subsidiary

MUMBAI – Ventive Hospitality Ltd. has given a corporate guarantee of $39.60 million to its subsidiary Kudakurathu Island Resorts Pvt. Ltd., according to an exchange filing Tuesday. Ventive Hospitality has also approved the proposal for the subsidiary to take a loan of $36 million from ICICI Bank.
Out of the $39.60 million, the subsidiary can avail the corporate guarantee of $12 million immediately by taking a term loan, while a guarantee for the remaining amount of $27.60 million will be provided after getting approval from shareholders of Ventive Hospitality. The corporate guarantee is applicable for seven years from the date of disbursement.
For the quarter ended September, Ventive Hospitality reported a consolidated net profit of INR 525.68 million on a revenue of INR 4.89 billion. At 1139 IST, shares of the company traded at INR 709 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.4%. End
