Punit Lalbhai to lead Arvind Ltd's textiles and apparel business from April

MUMBAI – Arvind Ltd. informed the bourses Thursday that Vice-Chairman Punit Lalbhai will be stepping into an executive role and will lead the textiles and apparel business as part of the company's long-term succession plan. The change will be effective Apr. 1. Susheel Kaul will continue as managing director and president of the textiles and apparel business.
"Susheel Kaul, MD and President of the textiles and apparel business, has led Arvind with distinction," the company said in the filing. "He will continue in his role as MD and will take up key strategic projects, working closely with the management to shape the future growth initiatives of the group."
Arvind Ltd. had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.03 billion for the September quarter on a revenue of INR 23.71 billion. Thursday, shares of the company closed 2% lower at INR 308.85 on the National Stock Exchange. End
