AHMEDABAD – Raviraj Karia is set to take over as chief financial officer of Concord Biotech Ltd. from Jan. 5, a senior company official told Informist on condition of anonymity. He will replace Lalit Sethi, who had, on Dec. 8, expressed his desire to retire early, effective Jan. 5, for personal reasons.
"Karia, a chartered accountant, has earlier worked in an unlisted pharmaceutical company for 7-8 years and in a listed small-cap hospital company based in Ahmedabad," a source familiar with the developments said.
For the September quarter, Concord Biotech had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 635.81 million on a revenue of INR 2.47 billion. At 1514 IST, shares of the company were up 1.7% at INR 1,384 on the National Stock Exchange. End
