IndiGo flights may see delay, cancellation due to dense fog at Delhi airport

MUMBAI – IndiGo-operator InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. Monday said that some of its flights may be delayed, while a few others may be cancelled throughout the day due to low visibility, as the dense fog has severely impacted operations in Delhi and other airports across northern India. The company is prioritising safety and working to minimise extended waiting at the airport, it said in a filing with bourses. It has issued advisories to customers and informed them to minimise inconvenience, according to the filing.
The company has requested customers to stay updated on their flight status through its website or mobile application as some consequential delays are expected. At 1223 IST, shares of the company traded over 2% higher at INR 4,966 on the National Stock Exchange. Nearly 3 million shares of the company changed hands on the NSE so far Monday, higher than 2 million shares traded till the same time Friday.
The company reported a net loss of INR 26.14 billion for the quarter ended September on revenues of INR 185.55 billion. Of the 11 brokerage recommendations available with Informist on the company, seven have a 'buy' rating with an average target price of INR 6,061. Two have a 'sell' rating and the remaining two have a 'hold' rating. End
