NEW DELHI – Bank of Baroda has lowered the marginal cost of funds-based lending rates by 5 basis points for overnight and three-month tenures, the public sector bank said in a notice to the exchanges Wednesday. The bank left the MCLR unchanged on one-month, six-month, and one-year tenures.
The new rates will come into effect Friday. The bank's MCLR is now in the range of 7.80-8.75% for overnight to one-year tenures. The reduction in MCLR comes a week after the Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee lowered the repo rate by 25 bps to 5.25%. The rate-setting panel has cut the repo rate by a total of 125 bps in 2025. The RBI's norms require banks to review their MCLR every month.
Shares of the bank Wednesday closed 1.3% lower at INR 286.10 on the National Stock Exchange. The bank had reported a net profit of INR 48.09 billion for the quarter ended September, down 8.2% on year.
Bank of Baroda's marginal cost of funds-based lending rates for various tenures are as follows:
Tenure | Revised rate | Previous rate |

One month | 7.90% | 7.90% |
Three months | 8.15% | 8.20% |
