--CCI OKs Avenir Investment RSC buying certain shareholding of Sammaan Cap
NEW DELHI – The Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of certain shareholding of Sammaan Capital Ltd. by Avenir Investment RCS Ltd., an affiliate of the Abu-Dhabi-based global investment company International Holding Co.
In October, Avenir Investment and IHC Capital Holding LLC made an open offer to the public shareholders of Sammaan Capital to acquire up to 341.75 million fully paid-up equity shares, making up for 26% stake, at a price of INR 139 per share. The offer opened on Nov. 27 and will close on Wednesday.
For the September quarter, Sammaan Capital reported a consolidated net profit of INR 3.08 billion on a consolidated revenue of INR 22.51 billion. Shares of the company Tuesday closed 0.1% higher at INR 141.59 on the National Stock Exchange. End
