MUMBAI – Some market participants faced an issue while trading Sensex options contracts on the BSE Monday. Several posts on social media platform X suggested traders were not able to see data related to buyers and sellers at mutiple strike prices of Sensex derivative contracts.
"One of the partitions ware down briefly and orders for some Sensex calls did not go through," a senior BSE official said. The issue was rectified and normalcy was restored fast, he said. Partitions for a stock exchange are generally understood to be domains in their data or trading servers.
For the September quarter, BSE reported a consolidated net profit of INR 5.58 billion on a revenue of INR 10.68 billion. At 1208 IST, shares of the company were up nearly 1% at INR 2,844 per share on the National Stock Exchange. End
