MUMBAI – The International Financial Services Centres Authority has renewed the operating licence of the India International Bullion Exchange in Gujarat, it said in a notification. It has allowed it to continue functioning as a bullion exchange and bullion clearing corporation for the next three years starting Dec. 9, which will be valid until Dec. 8, 2028.
The regulator reviewed the exchange's application and decided that extending its recognition would benefit the bullion market, help trade, and serve the public interest. The authority granted this renewal under the Bullion Market Regulations, 2025, according to the notification.
However, the exchange must continue to follow all conditions and rules set by the authority from time to time, according to the notification. End
