--Hind Copper, NTPC arm to jointly bid for copper, critical minerals auctions

 

HYDERABAD – Hindustan Copper Ltd. and NTPC Mining Ltd. Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly participate in copper and critical minerals block auctions. Both the companies will develop and operationalise blocks for exploration, mining, and processing of minerals, Hindustan Copper said in an exchange filing. NTPC Mining is a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd.

 

The objective of the pact is to explore the possibility of joint investments for the development, mining, and processing from existing assets of Hindustan Copper and to collaborate on existing and future domestic and overseas copper and critical minerals projects, the company said.

 

Hindustan Copper had reported a net profit of INR 1.86 billion for the quarter ended September on revenue of INR 7.18 billion. On Tuesday, the company shares ended at INR 338.60 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.2% from their previous close.  End
