Vandana Suri to succeed Srinandan Sundaram as ED of HUL home care business

MUMBAI – Hindustan Unilever Ltd.'s board appointed Vandana Suri, who will succeed Srinandan Sundaram, as the executive director for the company's home care business, the company said in a filing to exchanges. Sundaram will take over as chief executive officer of Unilever International and these changes will be effective from Jan. 1.
Suri will also become a part of the HUL management committee. She is currently the general manager, beauty and wellbeing for Unilever Indonesia, where she has worked with multinational companies such as PepsiCo., Tetra Pak and Nielsen, before joining HUL in 2011, the company said in the filing. Sundaram is currently the executive director for home care, and has spent nine years as a part of the management committee.
For the quarter ended September, Hindustan Unilever reported a net profit of INR 26.90 billion on a revenue of INR 155.85 billion. On Monday, shares of the company closed marginally lower at INR 2,464.50 on the National Stock Exchange. End
