--Tata Motors total CV sales 35,539 units in Nov, up 29% on year 

 

AHMEDABAD – Tata Motors Ltd., formerly TML Commercial Vehicles Ltd., reported a 29% on-year rise in its commercial vehicle sales in November to 35,539 units. The growth was driven by robust domestic sales and exports. 

 

The company's domestic commercial vehicle sales increased 25% on year to 32,753 units in November, while exports jumped 92% on year to 2,786 units. 


Sales of heavy trucks grew 34% on year to 10,181 units and those of intermediate, light, and medium trucks grew 35% on year to 5,905 units. Sales of passenger carriers rose 11% on year to 3,340 units, while those of small cargo and pick-up vehicles rose over 19% to 13,327 units. 

 

Tata Motors was demerged, with Tata Motors housing the commercial vehicle business and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. housing the passenger vehicle business. 

 

On Monday, the company's shares ended 2% higher at INR 359.05 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
