Hyundai Motor reports 9% on-year sales volume growth in November

KOLKATA - Aided by cuts in the goods and services tax rates, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. Monday reported a 9.1% on-year growth in vehicle sales during November at 66,840 units. This includes monthly domestic sales of 50,340 units and exports of 16,500 units, the company said in a statement. The company's domestic sales grew 4.3% on year and exports grew sharply 26.9% on year, the statement said.
"Supported by GST 2.0 reforms, we continue to carry forward sales momentum with a year-on-year growth in our monthly domestic sales in November 2025. Further, our commitment to bolstering India's role as a global manufacturing hub is further solidified with 26.9% year-on-year growth in monthly exports," Tarun Garg, whole-time director and chief operating officer at Hyundai Motor India, said in the statement.
Garg said the company's first software defined vehicle in India, Hyundai VENUE, has set new benchmarks in the compact sports utility vehicles segment, clocking more than 32,000 bookings within a month of its launch.
During the September quarter, Hyundai Motor reported a consolidated net profit of INR 15.72 billion, up 14% on year, and sales were at INR 174.61 billion, up over 1% on year. At 1426 IST, shares of Hyundai Motor were 3.5% higher at INR 2,407.20 on the National Stock Exchange. End
