NEW DELHI – Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.'s wholesale sales rose nearly 26% on year in November to 59,199 vehicles, the company said in a press release Monday. Of this, 57,436 were sold in the domestic market, up 22% on year. The remaining 1,763 were sold overseas, up over 32 times on year.
The company recorded over 52% on-year jump in sales of electric vehicles in November to 7,911 units, as per the release. This includes sales of subsidiary Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd.
For the September quarter, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported a consolidated net profit of INR 761.70 billion on revenues of INR 723.49 billion. At 1419 IST, shares of the company traded 2% higher on the National Stock Exchange at INR 364. End
