Value of UPI transactions surges 22% on year to INR 26.32 tln in Nov

MUMBAI – The number of Unified Payments Interface transactions rose to 20.47 billion in November, marking a 32% rise from a year ago, data from the National Payments Corp. of India showed. In value terms, UPI transactions increased 22% on year to INR 26.32 trillion in November.
The number of UPI transactions had recorded a 25% jump on year in October, and 16% on-year growth in transactions value. The average daily UPI transaction count in November was 682 million, slightly higher than 668 million in October. The average daily transaction value was INR 877.21 billion in November, compared to INR 879.93 billion in October, the data showed. End
