MUMBAI – Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. has increased the price of aviation turbine fuel to INR 99,676.77 per kilolitre in Delhi, according to information on its website. In November aviation turbine fuel was priced at 94,543.02 per kilolitre in the national capital. These prices are applicable from Monday, the fuel retailer said.
In Mumbai, aviation turbine fuel is currently priced at INR 93,281.04 per kilolitre, up from INR 88,447.87 per kilolitre the previous month. In Kolkata, it is now priced at INR 102,371.02, up from INR 97,549.18 per kilolitre in November. In Chennai, the fuel is priced at INR 103,301.80 per kilolitre, up from INR 98,089.68 per kilolitre the previous month.
Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. and Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd., the other two public sector fuel retailers, usually follow Indian Oil in fuel price revisions. For the September quarter, Indian Oil reported a net profit of INR 76.10 billion on revenue of INR 2.03 trillion. On Friday, shares of Indian Oil closed over 1% lower at INR 161.75 on the National Stock Exchange. End
