MUMBAI – Adani Enterprises Ltd. is planning to invest as much as $5 billion in Google's artificial intelligence hub in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, said Jugeshinder Singh, group chief financial officer, Adani Group, on Friday. "We will be providing land and power to the project," he told Informist on the sidelines of an event.

"But that (investment) will expand because there is not just Google, there are a lot of parties who would like to work with us. Especially when the data center capacity goes to 1 gigawatt and higher, then there is a different type of reliability, different type of assurance on power, on stack capacity, on the cost of the stack, the cooling, and especially cabling," the official told reporters at TRUST Group's India Debt Capital Market Summit here.

However, he did not give any timeline for the $5-billion investment by the company, adding that it will depend on the state government
