India Oct CPI-IW inflation eases to 2.21% from 2.79% in Sept

NEW DELHI – India's CPI inflation for industrial workers eased to 2.21% in October from 2.79% in September, according to data released by the Labour Bureau Friday. The inflation rate for industrial workers in October 2024 was 4.41%.
The index for CPI for industrial workers inched up to 147.7 in October from 147.3 the previous month. CPI inflation for industrial workers in October was much higher than the more widely tracked CPI (Combined). Headline CPI inflation was at a record-low of 0.25% in October.
