NEW DELHI – India's services trade surplus narrowed to $17.44 billion in October from $18.83 billion in September, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India Friday.
Services exports rose 2.2% on year to $35.17 billion in October and imports rose 2.9% to $17.73 billion. Services exports and imports were at $36.67 billion and $17.84 billion, respectively, in September.
The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade. This data may be revised when the balance-of-payments data are released quarterly. End
