Hero MotoCorp Q2 net profit rises nearly 16% on year to INR 13.93 bln

MUMBAI - Hero MotoCorp Ltd.'s net profit for the September quarter rose nearly 16% to INR 13.93 billion from INR 12.04 billion a year ago. The net profit was lower than analysts' estimate of INR 14.29 billion. The two-wheeler major's revenue for the quarter was INR 121.26 billion, also up nearly 16% from INR 104.63 billion a year ago.
