Titan Q2 net profit surges nearly 43% on year to INR 10.06 bln

MUMBAI - Titan Co. Ltd.'s net profit for the September quarter surged nearly 43% to INR 10.06 billion from INR 7.05 billion a year ago but was lower than analysts' estimate of INR 10.70 billion. The company's revenue for the quarter was INR 165.34 billion, higher by over 25% from INR 132.15 billion a year ago.
