Bharti Airtel Q2 consolidated net profit rises over 14% QoQ to INR 67.92 bln

MUMBAI - Bharti Airtel Ltd.'s consolidated net profit for the September quarter rose over 14% to INR 67.92 billion from INR 59.48 billion a quarter ago. The net profit was higher than analysts' estimate of INR 64.61 billion. The telecom major's consolidated revenue for the quarter was INR 521.45 billion, up over 5% from INR 494.63 billion a quarter ago.
