Delhi Metro, CE Info Systems in pact to integrate metro data into Mappls app

MUMBAI – The Delhi Metro Rail Corp. and C.E. Info Systems Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding to integrate metro data into the latter's application Mappls. Metro rail data for the national capital will be integrated into the Mappls app, which will enable users to access information such as nearby stations, routes, fares, line changes, train frequencies, and travel times, the company said in an exchange filing.
Earlier in October, the company had said it would collaborate with the Railway Ministry to bring MapmyIndia Maps and Mappls technology into railway applications. For the quarter ended June, C.E. Info Systems reported a consolidated net profit of INR 461.10 million on consolidated revenue of INR 1.22 billion. Friday, its shares closed 0.6% lower on the National Stock Exchange at INR 1,819.30.
