Govt set to launch analytics dashboard Koyla Shakti to track coal sector ops

MUMBAI – The Ministry of Coal is set to launch Koyla Shakti, a smart coal analytics dashboard to serve as a unified platform for real-time monitoring and analysis of coal sector operations, it said in a release. The digital dashboard will help in providing a unified, real-time digital interface for monitoring coal production, transportation, and supply, it said.
Koyla Shakti will be laaunched on Wednesday in presence of Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy.
The platform will enable data-driven decision-making and will ensure transparency and efficiency across the entire coal ecosystem, according to the release. The dashboard will enable reporting, performance tracking, and optimised logistics, facilitating seamless information flow among stakeholders, it said.
The dashboard serves as a centralised digital platform integrating data from multiple stakeholders, including coal producing companies and private miners, central ministries and departments such as coal, railways, power, finance, ports, shipping and waterways, and road transport and highways. State departments managing coal production, power generation companies and other industrial coal consumers and port authorities and private coal-handling terminals are other stakeholders from which the platform will provide data.
The primary objective of Koyla Shakti is to strengthen operational efficiency, promote transparency, and enhance coordination across the coal supply chain, according to the release. End
