IOC's Q2 net profit rises over 42 times on year to INR 76.10 bln

MUMBAI – Indian Oil Corp. Ltd.'s net profit for the September quarter was INR 76.10 billion, over 42 times the net profit of INR 1.80 billion posted a year ago. The net profit surpassed analysts' estimate of INR 53.41 billion. The state-owned company's revenue for the quarter was INR 2.03 trillion, up over 4% from INR 1.95 trillion a year ago.
