--Ola Electric to sell EV spare parts on open platform 

MUMBAI – Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. has started selling spare parts of electric vehicles to third-party entities through 'hyperservice' platform on its website and mobile application, the company said in an exchange filing Monday. It will sell spare parts to independent garages, mechanics, and fleet operators in India in phase-1. In subsequent phases, the company will start selling diagnostic tools and service training modules, which are currently only available to the company's customers.

Ola Electric aims to increase volumes through its supply chain and open its proprietary service infrastructure and technology to the broader industry. This will help the company build open, scalable, and domestically integrated platforms across batteries, software, and after-sales and service infrastructure, according to the filing.

The company reported a consolidated net loss of INR 4.28 billion for the quarter ended June on a consolidated revenue of INR 8.28 billion. At 1440 IST, shares of the company traded 2% lower at INR 51.76 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
