--Adani Green Apr-Sept sale of energy 19.57 bln units, up 39% on year

--Adani Green Apr-Sept operational capacity 16.7 GW, up 49% on year

MUMBAI – Adani Green Energy Ltd.'s operational capacity for the September quarter grew 49% on year to 16.7 gigawatts, data cited in the company's investor presentation showed. Sale of energy during the quarter increased 39% on year to 19.57 billion units, backed by robust capacity addition, the company said.

The company sold 11.81 billion units of solar power in Jul-Sept, 3.30 billion units of wind power, and 4.45 billion units of hybrid power. Its solar portfolio recorded a capacity utilisation factor of 24.8% backed by 99% plant availability. The capacity utilisation factor for the wind portfolio was 37.8% and for hybrid portfolio it was 39.1%, the presentation showed. The company said it has seen greenfield capacity addition of 2.4 gigawatts in Jul-Sept compared to the 0.25 gigawatts added during the same period last year.

For the quarter ended June, Adani Green reported a consolidated net profit of INR 7.13 billion on revenue of INR 38.00 billion. Wednesday, shares of the company closed at INR 1,043.80 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.7%.  End
