Axis Bank posts net profit of INR 50.90 bln for Jul-Sept

Mumbai - Axis Bank reported a net profit of INR 50.90 billion for the September quarter, against INR 69.18 billion a year ago. Analysts had estimated the bank's net profit at INR 59.30 billion. The bank's total income for Jul-Sept stood at INR 375.95 bln, against INR 371.42 billion a year ago. Provisions came in at INR 35.47 billion, compared to INR 22.04 billion a year ago.
