--ICRA ups Jindal Steel long-term fund based term loan rtg to AA from AA- 

MUMBAI – Jindal Steel Ltd. late Friday said ratings agencies CARE and ICRA have upgraded their long-term bank facilities. Of these, CARE has upgraded the rating on Jindal Steel's long-term bank facilities to 'AA' from 'AA-' with a stable outlook. ICRA has upgraded its rating on the company's long-term fund-based term loan to 'AA' from 'AA-' with a stable outlook, according to an exchange filing.

ICRA has also upgraded its rating on the long-term non-fund-based capital expenditure letter of credit to 'AA' from 'AA-' with a stable outlook, the company said. The ratings agency also upgraded its rating on the company's long-term fund-based working capital facilities to 'AA' from 'AA-' with a stable outlook.

Additionally, it has upgraded its long-term non-fund-based facilities' rating to 'AA' from 'AA-' with a stable outlook and its rating on long-term unallocated to 'AA' from 'AA-' with a stable outlook, the company said.  End
