NEW DELHI – The Union Cabinet Tuesday approved four railway projects across 18 districts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh with a total outlay of INR 246.34 billion, Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said at a press conference. The total length of the railway track for the four projects will be 1,619 kilometres and is estimated to be completed by 2030-31 (Apr-Mar).
The four projects include development of railway tracks between Bhusaval and Wardha for INR 91.97 billion, between Vadodara and Ratlam for INR 88.85 billion, between Itarsi and Bhopal for INR 43.29 billion, and between Gondia and Dondargarh for INR 22.23 billion.
