MUMBAI – CreditAccess Grameen Ltd.'s loan disbursements grew 33% on year to INR 53.31 billion in Jul-Sept, the company informed exchanges Tuesday. In the last quarter, the microfinance lender had disbursed loans worth INR 54.58 billion, nearly 22% higher on year. The company opened 96 new branches and added 220,000 new borrowers in the quarter ended September, the filing said.
CreditAccess Grameen's net profit for the quarter ended June slumped nearly 85% on year to INR 601.90 million. At 1240 IST, shares of the company were at INR 1,386.60 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.9% from the previous close. End
