--Tata Comm launches Voice AI platform for BFSI customers

MUMBAI – Tata Communications Ltd. Monday said it has launched its voice artifical intelligence platfrom for financial institutions. The platform is a speech-to-speech customer engagement solution, offering instant decision making, multilingual fluency, and sub 500 milliseconds latency performance. It is supported by an agentic AI platform and voice network and utilises Tata Communications AI Cloud for security and scale, the company said in an exchange filing. The platform provides personalised, context aware customer interactions which are integrated across channels for financial institutions.

The platform supports interactions in more than 40 languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Spanish, and Mandarin, and delivers real-time transcription, call summaries and sentiment analytics, according to the filing. Its key capabilities include context retention across sessions, adaptive dialogue flows, and real-time call analysis among others.

Tata Communications reported a consolidated net profit of INR 1.90 billion for the June quarter on a consolidated revenue of INR 59.60 billion. At 1520 IST, the company's shares traded at INR 1,661 on the National Stock Exchange, up 2.9%.  End
