--Nestle India signs MoU with food processing min for greenfield investment
MUMBAI – Nestle India Ltd. Friday said it has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Food Processing Industries to expedite investments in greenfield and brownfield projects in the food processing sector in Odisha and its existing manufacturing locations. The investments are expected to be made within the next 2-3 years, the company said in an exchange filing. This is also expected to create both direct and indirect employment opportunities, Nestle India said.
For the June quarter, Nestle India reported a net profit of INR 6.59 billion on a revenue of INR 50.96 billion. Tuesday, shares of Nestle India closed flat at INR 1,152.90 on the National Stock Exchange. End
