--AU Small Finance Bank appoints Gaurav Jain as interim CFO effective Fri
NEW DELHI – AU Small Finance Bank Ltd. appointed senior management personnel Gaurav Jain as interim chief financial officer Friday, the bank informed the exchanges. The decision came after the death Wednesday of Chief Financial Officer Vimal Jain.
Gaurav Jain has been associated with AU Small Finance Bank since January 2021. He is an all-India rank-holding chartered accountant with a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management. He will hold the position until further notice, the bank said.
AU Small Finance had reported a 15.6% jump in net profit for the June quarter to INR 5.81 billion. Friday, its shares ended slightly higher at INR 743.20 on the National Stock Exchange. End
