NEW DELHI – Dabur India Ltd. has cut prices of products across several categories to pass on the benefit of the recent goods and services tax reforms, the company said in a post on X. 

 

In the oral care category, the fast-moving consumer goods major has reduced prices of at least three products--The 150-gram pack of Dabur Red Baefresh Paste is now priced at INR 119, down from INR 135 earlier. Meanwhile, a-200 gram pack of Dabur Red Paste and Meswak Paste each will now be sold at INR 135 from INR 153 earlier. In the hair care segment, the company has cut prices of at least two products each in the Dabur Amla and Vatika portfolios. Other items whose prices have been reduced include Dabur Chyawanprakash, Real Fruit Power Juice, Honitus Cough Syrup, Lal Tail, and Hajmola Regular. It remains unclear if prices have been reduced for other products in the company's portfolio.  

 

Dabur India said for a limited period, products with both the old and new maximum retail prices may be available in the market. 

 

Dabur India had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 5.14 billion for the June quarter on revenue of INR 34.05 billion. At 1310 IST, shares of the company traded at INR 531.75 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.7%.  End
