Govt extends UCO Bank ED Rajendra Kumar Saboo's tenure for 3 years

MUMBAI – The government has extended the tenure of Rajendra Kumar Saboo as the executive director of UCO Bank for a period of three years until further orders, the bank informed the exchanges Tuesday. Saboo's tenure was scheduled to end on Nov. 20.
The Kolkata-based lender's bottom line for Apr-Jun rose 10.3% on year to INR 6.07 billion. However, the net profit fell 7% quarter on quarter. At 1351 IST, shares of the bank were up 1.4% at INR 29.86 on the National Stock Exchange. End
