Bomb scare in Delhi High Court, judges adjourn cases

NEW DELHI – The Delhi High Court on Friday received a bomb threat email to their registrar that three bombs were kept in the premises and there will be a blast in the afternoon. Following this, multiple benches abruptly rose from their hearings and the cases were adjourned.
A bomb squad was rushed to the high court premises. Currently, the high court is being evacuated.
The threat letter said that three explosives had been planted in the judge's room and at other locations on the premises and warned that the evacuations should be completed by 1400 IST. The letter also stated about the "links with the Pakistan ISI cells" and said that "the judge's chamber will detonate shortly after mid-day Islamic prayers." More details are awaited. End
