M&M August production rises almost 9% on year to 86,890 units

MUMBAI – Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Tuesday said its total production in August was 86,890 units, up almost 9% from a year ago. Its commercial vehicles' production was up over 16% on year at 26,623 units, it said in a press release.
For the quarter ended June, the company had reported a net profit of INR 34.50 billion on revenue of INR 341.43 billion. On Tuesday, its shares closed at INR 3,696.30 on the National Stock Exchange, down 0.1%. End
