NEW DELHI – The government has extended the tenure of Ajay Kumar Srivastava as the managing director and chief executive officer of Indian Overseas Bank till Oct. 8, 2027, the bank informed the exchanges Monday. Srivastava's tenure was scheduled to end on Dec. 31.
Srivastava became Indian Overseas Bank's MD and CEO in January 2023 for three years. He was an executive director at the bank before being elevated to MD and CEO.
Indian Overseas Bank reported a net profit of INR 11.11 billion for the June quarter, up 76% on year. On Monday, shares of the bank closed 1.5% higher at INR 39.08 on the National Stock Exchange. End
