--US FDA issues 4 observations to Zydus Life's mfg unit in Jarod, Gujarat
MUMBAI – Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. Friday said the US Food and Drug Administration has issued four observations to injectable manufacturing plant at Jarod in Gujarat. The drug regulator conducted the inspection from Aug. 25 till Friday, the pharmaceutical company said in an exchange filing. There were no data integrity related observations and the company will closely work with the US FDA to address the observations expeditiously, it said.
For the quarter ended June, the company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 14.67 billion on revenue of INR 65.74 billion. Its shares closed at INR 1,013.85 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.2%. End
