SEBI renews recognition of National Commodity Clearing for 3 years

MUMBAI - The Securities and Exchange Board of India has renewed recognition of the National Commodity Clearing Ltd. as a clearing corporation for three years, starting Sept. 10 till Sept. 9, 2028, according to a gazette notification. SEBI said the renewal would be in the interest of the trade and the securities market as well as in public interest.
According to the notification, the renewal was granted on the condition that National Commodity Clearing Ltd. will follow the rules set out by SEBI. National Commodity Clearing is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd. and is responsible for clearing and settling services of all trades executed on the exchange.
