--Bank of Maharashtra cuts 1-year MCLR by 10 bps
NEW DELHI – Bank of Maharashtra has reduced the marginal cost of funds-based lending rates for the one-year tenure by 10 basis points to 8.90%, effective Sunday, the bank said in an exchange filing.
The bank kept rates unchanged for other tenures. The revised MCLR for the bank now ranges from 8.20% to 8.90%.
The Reserve Bank of India's norms require banks to review their MCLR every month. The public sector bank's net profit for the June quarter rose over 23% on year to INR 15.93 billion. At 0913 IST, shares of Bank of Maharashtra were flat at INR 51.90 on the National Stock Exchange.
