India Jul CPI-IW inflation rises to 2.66% in Jul from 2.55% Jun

NEW DELHI – India's CPI inflation for industrial workers rose to 2.66% in July from 2.55% in June, according to data released by the Labour Bureau Friday. The inflation rate for industrial workers in July 2024 was 2.15%.
The index for CPI for industrial workers inched up to 146.5 in July from 145.0 the previous month. CPI inflation for industrial workers in July was higher than the more widely tracked CPI (Combined). Headline CPI inflation was 1.55% in July, the lowest since June 2017.
