--[I] TCS signs multi-year pact with Kesko to drive AI-led retail transformation
KOLKATA - Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. Wednesday said it has been selected by Kesko, a leading Finnish retail group, as its strategic information technology partner to spearhead the transformation of its core technology landscape across the Nordic and Baltic regions of northern Europe.
This partnership is set to play a pivotal role in Kesko's journey to modernise operations, enhance business agility, and support its long-term growth and expansion ambitions in grocery, car, building, and technical trades across multiple geographies and sectors, the company said in a statement.
"This collaboration sets a benchmark for the retail sector, demonstrating how advanced technology and innovation can empower businesses to adapt, enhance customer experiences, and lead in an ever-evolving market," Subhadipta Samantray, TCS Finland country head, said in the statement.
The new multi-year partnership is designed to help Kesko accelerate the development of next-generation digital services, increase operational efficiency, go to market faster, and stay competitive by modernising its IT landscape. The partnership will also help Kesko to leverage artificial intelligence and intelligent automation, improve quality, and save costs across Kesko's operations in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
As part of the collaboration, TCS will provide comprehensive AI-enabled application-managed services that will leverage machine learning and AI capabilities to understand the health of the application and take proactive measures to resolve incidents within Kesko's SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
At 1453 IST, shares of Tata Consultancy Services were up 2.8% at INR 3,101.10 on the National Stock Exchange. End
