MUMBAI – Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd.'s net profit for the quarter ended June surged over 103% to INR 61.24 billion from INR 30.15 billion a year ago but was marginally lower than analysts' estimate of INR 61.96 billion. The state-owned company's revenue for the quarter was INR 1.296 trillion, up from INR 1.281 trillion a year ago.
