ONGC Q1 net profit falls over 10 per cent on year to INR 80.24 bln

MUMBAI – Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd.'s net profit for the June quarter fell more than 10% to INR 80.24 billion from INR 89.38 billion a year ago. However, the net profit was above analysts' estimate of INR 78.81 billion. The state-owned company's revenue for the quarter was INR 320.03 billion, down over 9% from INR 352.66 billion a year ago.
