MUMBAI – Uno Minda Ltd. Wednesday said its board approved a further investment of up to 5 million euros, or about INR 507.8 million, in the equity share capital of its Spain-based wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Clarton Horn, S.A.U., through its wholly-owned subsidiary Global Mazinkert, S.L. The board also approved acquisition of shares in its joint venture company with Buehler Motor GmbH--Uno Minda Buehler Motor Pvt. Ltd.--in one or more tranches.

Buehler Motor had expressed its intention to dilute its stake in the joint venture, Uno Minda said in an exchange filing. However, further details on the acquisition of shares are yet to be decided, it said.

The auto ancillary company's board further approved allotment of 281,974 shares each to eligible shareholders of Kosei Minda Aluminum Co. Pvt. Ltd., Kosei Minda Mould Pvt. Ltd., and Minda Kosei Aluminum Wheel Pvt. Ltd. upon merger of the three companies with Uno Minda. The National Company Law Tribunal had approved the merger in its order dated Dec. 18, 2024, Uno Minda said.

Earlier Wednesday, the company announced its June quarter earnings. It reported a consolidated net profit of INR 2.91 billion on a revenue of INR 44.89 billion. Shares of the company Wednesday closed at INR 1,086.40 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.5%.  End
