NEW DELHI – India's services trade surplus in June decreased to $16.21 billion from $15.76 billion in May, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India Thursday.
Services exports rose 12.0% on year to $32.11 billion in June and services imports rose 5.0% to $15.90 billion. Services exports and imports were at $32.45 billion and $16.69 billion, respectively, in May. For Apr-Jun, India's services exports were $97.40 billion and imports were $49.50 billion.
The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade. This data may undergo revision when the balance-of-payments data are released on a quarterly basis. End
