MUMBAI - NTPC Ltd.'s net profit for the June quarter was INR 47.75 billion, up nearly 6% from INR 45.11 billion a year ago. The net profit was higher than analysts' expectations of INR 47.08 billion. However, the company's revenue for the quarter was lower at INR 425.73 billion compared with INR 444.28 billion a year ago.
