--Maruti Suzuki to raise prices of Fronx by 0.5% on adding 6 airbags to car
NEW DELHI – Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Friday raised prices of its crossover Fronx by 0.5% on addition of six airbags, it said in an exchange filing. The company has already hiked prices of XL6, Baleno, and Ertiga in July for the same reason.
Fronx has been among Maruti Suzuki's top performing models in 2025 so far in India and overseas. Since its launch, the company has exported over 100,000 units of the Fronx, which is manufactured at its Gujarat facility. The car was launched in April 2023 in India and its export destinations include Latin America, West Asia, Africa, Japan, among others.
For the March quarter, Maruti Suzuki had reported a net profit of INR 37.11 billion on a revenue of INR 406.74 billion. The company will disclose its June quarter earnings on Thursday. At 1331 IST, shares of the company traded 1.1% lower on the National Stock Exchange at INR 12,418. End
